Former Italy national team striker, Alessandro Del Piero, said that Paulo Dybala has everything he needs to emulate his footsteps at Juventus. Moreover, the current performance is increasing.

Dybala joined Juventus in early 2015-2016 after being imported from Palermo for 32 million euros (about Rp 505 billion). Since then, Dybala has become a top choice and has contributed 54 goals and 18 assists from 104 official matches.

The incision is still far from what made Del Piero at Juventus with a total of 289 goals and 63 assists from 700 matches. However, Del Piero believes Dybala has the ability to rival the incision during the Bianconeri uniform.

The belief was also shown by the club by giving confidence to Dybala wearing a uniform numbered 10 since the beginning of the 2016-2017 season.

“I’m very happy that number 10 is not entirely mine because previously Roberto Baggio, Omar Sivori and Michel Platini have used it,” Del Piero told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Now there is a new big star wearing it and he has everything to survive in Juve all his life if he wants it,” he said.

Earlier this season Dybala proved his quality as the number 10 player. The Argentine’s little striker had scored 10 goals in Serie A and was at the top of the list while top scorer, one goal ahead of Lazio striker Ciro Immobile.
